Adjusting the case of words or sentences is quick with the Google Docs transform text tool. Capitalize, lower case, or title case in three clicks.
It used to be transforming text using a menu option in Google Docs was only available through an add on like “Doc Tools”; not any more. A new update makes it easy to change the case of selected text. Simply highlight the text in question and select Format > Text > Capitalization from the menu, then choose one of the following three options:
- lowercase, to make all the letters in your selection lowercase
- UPPERCASE, to capitalize all the letters in your selection
- Title Case, to capitalize the first letter of each word in your selection
